History

Donated by Donald Ashley in 2009 to serve as the permanent Low Gross trophy representing the best golfer among the Ozone members

N.B. Back in the very beginning of the Ozone, there was a Low Gross prize called the Comfort Cup which was retired by Edward T. Comfort 1909 (?) and then somehow came to be in the possession of Walter Smedley Jr, who in turn gifted it in 2008 to Masters Friday Club of Houston Texas, for whom it has become their most sought after championship trophy.

Awarded to the player with the most Low Gross scores over the course of a season.
